Help boost Good Shepherd food stocks this Harvest time

Good Shepherd is asking for food donations during Harvest time to help restock its pantries for the winter months.

The charity works alongside people experiencing homelessness, poverty, or addiction on their path to recovery.

Their work starts with a meal, last year they served over 21,000 hot meals and gave out over 6,500 food parcels to some of the most disadvantaged people in Wolverhampton.

To help run the food service, they always appreciate donations of in date, non-perishable food items and toiletries, but in particular are in need of the following items:

  • Tinned meat and fish
  • Tinned vegetables
  • Pot noodles
  • Easy cook rice
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Curry/Pasta Sauces
  • Gravy granules
  • Sugar
  • Coffee
  • Jams and spreads
  • Long life milk
  • Tinned fruits

Items can be delivered to 65 Waterloo Road, WV1 4QU. Monday to Friday 9am – 3pm, or contact us to arrange a collection.

As well as supporting people with food and toiletries, they also help people into accommodation. In 2024, they supported almost 100 people into accommodation and prevented 30 from becoming homeless. Group work also helps even more people on their path to recovery.

With your support this harvest time we can work alongside even more people who need support, starting with a meal.

Thank you.
