Recovery is For Everyone Art Exhibition

To celebrate Recovery Month, Good Shepherd is launching ‘Recovery is For Everyone’, a large-scale exhibition showcasing artwork created by our recovery art group through Arts Council funded workshops with local artists.

Exhibition – Friday 11th – Thursday 24th September 2026

Launch Event: Friday 11th September 6-9pm

This year, the Good Shepherd has overseen workshops and a mentoring programme for people in recovery from addiction, mental health issues and homelessness. Our Recovery Art Group has thrived with artist-led sessions in oil painting, portraiture, watercolours, ceramics, printmaking, installation, spoken word, illustration, art theory and photography.

Wolverhampton Arts Centre is easily accessible by car and public transport, and we encourage visitors to plan their journey in advance.

Please note that parking at Wolverhampton Arts Centre is limited and spaces cannot be guaranteed. A small number of additional parking spaces will be available at Good Shepherd, 63-65 Waterloo Road, Wolverhampton WV1 4QU, which is just a short walk from the venue. Roadside parking is also available in the vicinity.

For those travelling by public transport, the Arts Centre is conveniently located close to Wolverhampton city centre, with regular bus services and Wolverhampton railway station nearby.

If possible, we encourage visitors to car share, use public transport, or allow extra time to find parking before the exhibition begins. We look forward to welcoming you.
