Join us for a special Open Day at Good Shepherd as we open our doors to supporters, partners, volunteers, local businesses, and members of the community on World Homeless Day.
This free event is an opportunity to learn more about homelessness in Wolverhampton, discover the wide range of services and activities delivered by Good Shepherd, and meet the staff, volunteers and people who help make our work possible every day.
Throughout the day, visitors will be able to:
- Take a guided tour of our facilities
- Meet members of our team
- Learn about the support we provide to people experiencing homelessness, poverty and multiple disadvantage
- Find out how you can get involved through volunteering, fundraising, partnerships and donations
- Enjoy refreshments and conversations with staff and volunteers
Whether you have supported Good Shepherd for many years or are visiting for the first time, we would be delighted to welcome you.
World Homeless Day is an international observance held annually on 10th October to highlight the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness and to promote solutions through community engagement, advocacy, and support.
