LEAP’s Historic Day at Blists Hill

Some of our LEAP Volunteers recently took a break from their training to step back in time at Blists Hill Victorian Town!

The day was made possible thanks to our friends at Paycare and thier partners from the Iron Bridge Gorge Museum Trust who kindly gifted us the day passes.

Emma, Paddy, Emma and Chris joined Good Shepherd keyworkers Shaz and Paul to explore life in the 1900’s and of course savor the famous fish and chips!

LEAP – the Lived Experience into Action Project – empowers volunteers with a tailored support programme, helping them assist service users at the Good Shepherd, whilst also developing their own skills through various training opportunities.
