A Bostin’ Day Out for the Good Shepherd’s Friendly Faces Group

The Good Shepherd’s Friendly Faces group, which meets every Wednesday to bring together clients experiencing social isolation, recently enjoyed a truly memorable day out at the Black Country Living Museum.

The trip offered a chance to create new memories whilst reminiscing about the past. As the group explored the museum’s historic buildings and fascinating memorabilia of the Black Country.

A highlight of the day was a lunch of fish and chips cooked in beef dripping, enjoyed in traditional Black Country style. Everyone who attended said how much they thoroughly enjoyed themselves..

This special outing was made possible thanks to the generous support of Ashmore Glass and Mirrors LTD, a local company whose donation covered the cost of the trip.

It was an absolutely BOSTIN’ day all-round!
