Good Shepherd are excited to have a place in the TCS London Marathon 2026 and applications to take part are now open!

The world famous route takes you past London’s most iconic landmarks including Tower Bridge and Big Ben, finishing the final stretch towards Buckingham Palace. Experience the world’s most popular marathon as spectators pack the pavements to cheer you on.

We kindly ask all interested supporters to complete the application form, telling us your reasons for wanting to run for Good Shepherd, how you will share you marathon journey and how you plan to raise the minimum fundraising target of £1,500.

Own Places and Ballot Places
The best way to secure your place on the London Marathon is through the public ballot. If you are successful in the public ballot, we’d love you to use your place to fundraise for Good Shepherd.

The ballot for the 2026 TCS London Marathon will open in April 2025.

What to expect from Good Shepherd

Regardless of the place you hold, we can support you all through your training journey with fundraising advice, promotional materials and regular newsletters.

You’ll recieve training t-shirts and a breathable running top/vest

Why run for Good Shepherd?

Good Shepherd has been supporting vulnerable and marginalised members of our community in Wolverhampton since 1972. We deliver services in a way that makes people feel valued and always try to hear their voice.

In 2024, almost 1,400 people accessed our service and thanks to ongoing support from people like you, we can continue to provide food, practical support, group activities and 1-1 support for people that need it most.

We value lived experience and believe everyone has the capacity to change and achieve their full potential.
